SIMON facilitates the collection and management of the on site information, using a mobile phone or a tablet. SIMON allows the recording and association of photos and notes for each location visited. Both the location and the photos associated with it, are georeferenced. For an easy management, photos are automatically associated with categories. The notes recorded on the site can be text or audio.

Collected data can be viewed / used using the application or the utility tool SIMON's Desk – that can be downloaded for free form here. Another tool that can use the data is the MATRISK aplication – software tool for risk assessment. To get a head start, an initial list of sites can be loaded from an excel file with a standard format that can be downloaded from here. The first 5 sites are free and you can buy more directly from the app.
